JOIN OUR TEAM

We’re expecting a busy Summer season at 8 Doors Distillery and have several opportunities to join our friendly team in a beautiful setting. A mix of part-time and full-time roles available.

All positions are seasonal until September, with the possibility of becoming more permanent. Whilst experience is always useful, full training will be given for each role. A warm and welcoming personality, flexibility and can-do attitude is what really matters.

In return you can expect to have no 2 days the same, gain new skills, reach those daily step counts! and meet some lovely people along the way.

We’re open 7 days a week from 10am, and will be extending our evening hours across summer so hours will cover early evenings and weekends. Transport to John O’Groats required.

We’re looking for:

Bar Staff

Multi tasking skills necessary. You’ll be taking orders, prepping and making cocktails, serving drams and soft drinks, assisting our baristas in our welcoming whisky lounge, and of course ensuring all visitors receive a warm Highland welcome.

Over 18’s only.

Part time and Full time positions available.

Barista

A non-stop coffee making role, taking orders and providing service with a smile.

2 days per week

Waiting staff

Helping the team by providing service to customers, taking orders, cleaning tables, washing dishes. Attention to detail, people skills and good work ethic required.

Part-time and Full-time positions available.

Tour Guide

You’ll need great people skills to confidently lead and share our story to large groups on distillery tours. Full training will be given but good presentation and an assured manner are a must!
